Don't look at me like that, I can't help it. Life has its own flavor.
So as you must have imagined through the title, "Yes, I was mistaken for a South Indian".
So here is how the incident goes- I was travelling from Patna to Chandigarh "with a ticket" (FYI).
That FYI is there because I've literally heard people saying that Bihari's travel without ticket. Guys we do believe in reservation system.
FACTS :
But no minister in the history of Indian Railways could have scheduled trains on time. In Japan the average late time for a train is few second. If this happens to you in India, ever (believe me, you are as lucky as Abhishek bachchan).
(okay! back to story) So my train arrived late and I was wondering if there is any local train for my next stop bcuz I hate travelling in buses. I wanted to ask about waiting hall and there is this one guy near me so I asked him (using English ). I don't know why.... maybe bcuz -
I was afraid that the moment I'll say "Bhaiya humko waiting room..." and he'll be like - "Humkoo...Gangs of Waseypur ... criminal..... Bhagoo....". (sound reasonable, isn't it?)
so I asked him and he replied. After that he asked me in a very welcoming sound (I could actually listen ATITHI DEVO BHAVAH in background )
But then I replied - "No! I am from Bihar". (believe me the background song suddenly changed to ATHITHI TUM KAB JAOGE ????)
So all I concluded was his stereotypes -
Dusky skin color + English = South Indian. (too much of stereotype)
Guys! every state has fair and dark people and it doesn't matter but whom to blame ....(what?? Yami Gautam) sounds fair to me bcuz ever since I'm watching her she is this fair. So when exactly did she use Fair & Lovely, in her mother's womb???
Shahrukh Khan advertises Fair & Handsome coz they will advertise S**T for money. If that is how people become stars sir, then you should gift one such product to Kajol, Priyanka Chopra, Will Smith, Morgan Freeman etc etc and etc....
Hats off to Taapsee Pannu who turned down an invitation in last minute when she got to know that the event was sponsored by a fairness cream.
So you can't have it both ways, calling yourselves educated, developed and at the same time advertising fairness creams and judging people by their skin color.

FACTS :
- Lalu Prasad Yadav was the railway minister who brought Indian Railways into profit business from the never ending continuous loss.
- Lalu was invited to Harvard University to tell about this drastic transformation of Indian Railways.
- Nitish Kumar was the Railway minister who started the online reservation system. (All thanks to him that we don't have to wait in queues anymore).
